Our company

Nuventura develops SF6-free gas insulated switchgear (GIS) technologies that replace SF6 - the world's strongest greenhouse gas - with dry air.

Nu1 is our first technology offering. It is an IEC-certified medium voltage (up to 36 kV), single busbar GIS for primary distribution. It maintains traditional GIS's strengths such as compact physical footprint and reliability, while eliminating the operational and environmental problems posed by SF6. Moreover, it enables further benefits, such as digitization, made possible by the use of dry air as an insulating medium.

Nuventura is recognised by  industry professionals

“Considering the recent announcement by the European Union that SF6, and other F-Gases, will no longer be permitted from 2030 onwards in the MV segment, we find Nuventura’s MV dry-air technology extremely interesting, and are very excited to have the opportunity to include it in our primary substations and offer it to our customers.”

Financially Contributing to Climate Action

Mountains

We contribute to global climate action by financing climate projects that support the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Working with ClimatePartner, we have documented and assessed our company's carbon footprint and are exploring practical reduction strategies. We support a certified climate project annually, matching our CO2 emissions, which helps reduce greenhouse gases and promotes local sustainable development. Our actions are verifiable through our unique Climate ID below.
